Okanagan Landing neighbourhoods

Okanagan Landing runs along the east shore of the lake’s Vernon arm, from Paddlewheel Park out past Adventure Bay. Each stretch has its own feel. Here’s the quick tour from someone who lives here. For families, see schools in Okanagan Landing; for boaters, boating and moorage.

Paddlewheel Park, the Strand and Lakeshore Road

The north end of the Landing, closest to town. Paddlewheel Park has a beach and boat launch, and the old steamboat landing gave the area its name. Lakeside complexes like the Strand, Mandalay and Lakeside Residences sit along the shore, with Kin Beach and Lakeshore Park nearby. Nearby on Brooks Lane, Tuscan Terraces is a gated group of just 18 lakefront homes with its own beach, dock and pool.

Okanagan Landing Road lakeshore

Golden sunset over the docks on Okanagan Lake at Okanagan Landing

South of the yacht club, Okanagan Landing Road runs close to the water. Here you’ll find private lakeshore homes with their own docks, a few small waterfront complexes, and hillside homes across the road looking back over the lake. One of them is Silverton on the Lake, lakefront townhomes at 7701 Okanagan Landing Road. Further along, The Mandalay at 7922 Okanagan Landing Road has lake-view condos across from the Vernon Yacht Club.

Bella Vista and Tronson Road

Tronson Road follows the north shore of the arm toward the head of the lake, with private waterfront homes and gated lakeside enclaves such as Kestrel Place, plus Garmisch and Peregrine above. The Bella Vista hillside behind it is lake-view country.

Adventure Bay

Orange sunset over the hills across Okanagan Lake

A newer neighbourhood on the bench above the lake, with view lots, some waterfront along Smith Road and community lake access. Popular with families who want a view without lakefront prices.

The Outback and Eastside Road

Past Adventure Bay the road quiets down: larger lakeshore lots on Eastside Road, the Outback recreational community and, further south, Ellison Provincial Park. Check water and septic carefully out here.
